National Accounts Manager

Location: USA - CA - Cypress

Our dynamic Sales Management Team has an excellent opportunity for an experienced National Accounts Manager to direct, manage and lead our national account base of retailers and wholesalers within the US and Canadian Market.  Position will be based in Cypress, CA facility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead independent sales representatives or the national accounts.
  • Develop and maintain monthly and yearly sales forecast for accounts
  • Expand, grow and sustain strong relationship with key retailers and distributors
  • Identify sales trends, create marketing promotions, manage inventory and report competitor direction.
  • Oversee accounts, Co-op, marketing funds and customer service for region
  • Travel with sales representatives and attending trade shows.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • At least 10 years proven track record in managing Sales Representatives and Territory successfully in Consumer Packaged Goods (Outdoor Sporting goods channel preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent relationship and management skills
  • Ability to travel extensively, approximately 2 weeks per month.
  • Passion for Fishing

Traditional Marketing Manager

Location: USA - CA - Cypress

The Traditional Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing marketing projects such as the print advertising schedules, placement of ads and budgets while supporting writer events and building relationships with advertising partners. Other duties include and are not limited to overseeing regional and national tradeshows, working closely with the rest of the marketing team as well as sales managers and sales reps in those regions. This person will also play a strong roll in concept development and management of point of sale and promotion materials for our dealers and customers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new advertising opportunities, research market advertising demands
  • Build advertising brand awareness and product positioning through print advertising
  • Evaluate the competitions adverting and adverting plans and communicate with our group
  • Drive end-to-end program and event execution: creation of program and event components, execution processes, success measurement, and reporting
  • Organize, maintain, and communicate an ad campaigns calendar reflecting all tactics to be used and the project reach and outcome
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve campaign performance, velocity, and overall effectiveness of the advertising campaign
  • Work with the marketing team in concept and ad development

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and organize company, events, tradeshows and major events
  • Manage tradeshow schedule and calendar
  • Manage booth, products, layout and location in the show

 

Requirements:

  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or 5 years of marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer efficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated success in partnering and building a successful relationship with in sale, marketing and advertising
  • Strong understanding of product knowledge, lifecycle and regionality
  • Experience in content marketing, audience segmentation and campaign analytics
  • Excellent marketing project management skills to plan, execute and report on concurrent marketing projects and the ability to perform in a fast-paced and high energy environment
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including copy writing and proofreading
  • Is dynamic, well-spoken
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented, and a team player
  • Proven ability to work in a demanding fast paced outdoor environment

Reel Repair Technician

Job Summary:  

The Reel Technician is responsible for playing a vital role in creating and maintaining loyal customers. Under direction of the immediate supervisor, must meet or exceed quotas. Maintain quality repair of reals. Communicates professionally with customers, management, and co-workers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Repair fishing reels with quality and efficiency with minimal to no re-work.

• Establish collaborative relationships with peers.

• Maintain individual and departmental service levels and goals.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in Customer Service required.

• A minimum of 2 (two) years’ fishing experience.

• Some mechanical skills required.

 

  

Customer Service Representative

Location: USA - CA - Cypress

  • Provide service to consumer callers and parts accounts, retailers and wholesalers.
  • Take in-bound calls. Heavy phones. Answer customers questions. 
  • Assist customers with parts orders and warranty issues and assist retailers, wholesalers with questions regarding orders.
  • Process payment for repair invoices.
  • Process orders and quotations received by email.
  • Process department mail
  • Reply to email inquiries.
  • Invoice commercial orders
  • Review all orders received on the daily bases.
  • Assist in the warehouse when needed.

 

Ability to communicate well (written and oral) in English. PC skills (Word and Excel) helpful but will train. Microsoft Dynamics experience would be helpful.  Must be able to learn our fishing tackle product line (will train). Must be able to work well with deadlines. Heavy phone contact with our consumer customers around the nation.  

 

Hours are 7 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday, with 1 hour lunch. Temp to hire for the right candidate.
