Southern Black Bream

Had a short short session today on a nearby small lagoon full of nice sized southern black bream.

Using his Hobie Pro Angler, with the raised seat is superb, comfortable and functional, and the stability of the Kayak allows you to stand and fish which makes a huge difference.

Using the Daiwa Presso Minnow silent on 4lb leader was really successful on bream up to 1.2kg or mid 40cms. I Got a few fish slow rolling Presso deep crankbaits as well, but the Minnow proved an absolute killer today on the Battler/Aegis combo.

Sounds like a perfect Adventure Angler TV episode in the near future to me!!
