This picture was taken at the Campaspe River while trying to clean up the carp on soft plastics but ended up getting this lovely golden perch on a Zman 2.5 pearl grub. One hour before this picture I caught an accidental 80cm murray cod on a mini spinnerbait while chasing the yellowbelly. Sadly it was closed season so the cod was released quick and safely. Look at doing this more often very shortly, but for now my fingers are crossed
