Why Fish SV?

During a cast, as you lure pulls line off your reel, the brakes work to keep the spool spinning at a manageable speed to prevent backlashes. If there are any elements that change the speed the line is being peeled from the reel midcast- your line will overrun and you have yourself a tangled mess. With the SV spool adjusting for you on the fly, braking pressure is maximized at peak spool speeds, and lessens as the spool slows to maximize distance. This allows you to achieve the best of both worlds- distance and maximum control.

I love the SV because it makes it so much easier to skip jigs under docks. It is a perfect match with the Tatula Elite Skippin Jig rod.

The Tatula SV is one of the most amazing reels on the market! I use it for skipping frogs into tight places and when it is set up right I can skip it without any backlashes!

The SV is a great addition to my arsenal. Anytime I'm casting small light baits or skipping, the SV is my go-to reel. I also love how compact and light the reel is in my hand.
