Applications

SV makes it easier than ever to achieve the casting control you need. While there is a wide range of applications the SV reels will do well in, these are some of the applications that Tatula SV reels will excel over the competition.

Skipping

The SV spool gives you maximum control when skipping baits in tough to reach areas. Skipping means the bait is constantly switching speeds, generally causing overrun on the spool. However, with the SV spool, you have a rotor that adjusts the brakes on the fly for you, minimizing overruns and allowing you to focus on your fishing.

Pitching/Flipping

Similar to skipping baits, when you are pitching or flipping into heavy cover, accuracy and control are key. Having a spool that is making the necessary braking adjustments for you during a cast will give you the control you need to hit your spots.

Wind

Casting on a windy day can be difficult for even the most seasoned of veterans. With heavy winds changing the speed of your bait as it pulls line off the spool- casting in the wind is one of the most common ways backlashes happen. But having a a rotor that adjusts the brakes on the fly for you, minimizing overruns even on windy days.

Light weight Baits/Finesse Fishing

Small light baits can be very tricky to cast with a bait casting reel. Due to the fact you are generally casting harder to get the required distance, a reel's braking system will either have to be backed off- leading to more backlashes, or set high enough to limit backlashes- not allowing for long casts. With an SV spool, you are able to dial the brakes in and the reel adjusts the braking pressure  on it's own during a cast, allowing you to cast light baits with ease.

Beginner

SV technology makes it easier than ever before to pick up a bait casting reel. When properly adjusted, these reels are virtually backlash proof, making it easy for any angler of any age or experience level to use with ease.
